![]() ![]() The Strikes have always been one of the best bits of Destiny and that’s no different here, even if the setting and enemies are wearyingly familiar – and the mission as a whole shorter than most of the others. The palette swapped enemies, who are all exactly the same but for a slightly different colour here or a different texture there, are just as lazy and borderline insulting as the first game.īeyond the story missions there’s also a new co-op Strike, which is set on the Moon and starts at the entrance to the Temple of Crota. The story missions are perfectly well constructed but they’re all just recycled content, with some essentially just mirror mode versions of existing missions or slight expansions of existing areas. We’d say that after that you’ll never see or think of them again, but of course repetition is the very foundation of Destiny’s gameplay and you’ll be seeing them all again and again as heroic missions, at the very least. As long as you start off at a reasonably high level (the first mission advises level 26) you can still beat them all in less than two hours though. There are five story missions in House Of Wolves, which is a slight improvement on The Dark Below. ![]()
